The office is on the edge of Cambridge city centre, close to the river and many of Cambridge's most famous colleges. The penalty for this historic setting is that access is not always easy by modern modes of transport...

Trains to Cambridge station - for times and fares see www.nationalrail.co.uk. From London the service from King's Cross is faster and more frequent. From the station to the office is about 30 minutes walk (see map in menu to the left) or a taxi ride (fare about £7). There are frequent buses from the station to the city centre. Bicycle hire is available.
Buses and coaches: for services within Cambridge see http://www.stagecoachbus.com. Other operators provide services from the surrounding area and express/coach services from other cities including Oxford and Milton Keynes. Except for the Uni 4 service, all coaches and buses arrive at or near Drummer Street Bus Station, about 10 minutes walk from Bishop Bateman Court (see map in menu to the left).
Airport links: The nearest major airports are Stansted (trains and coaches to Cambridge - coach is slower but generally more reliable) and Luton (coach service to Cambridge). There are coach services from Heathrow and Gatwick, but it is generally quicker to take a train into London and then the King's Cross-Cambridge service (see above).

Cars and deliveries: We recommend that anyone driving to Cambridge to visit us should use the park and ride services - see below. Car parking at the office may be available by prior arrangement - access is via Magdalene Bridge and Thompsons's Lane, see map. There is no public on-street parking. If you need to drive into Cambridge, Park Street Car Park is just a few hundred metres from the office. Access to Park Street is only via Jesus Lane, which in turn is only accessible from certain other roads - see map.

Park and ride: for details of Cambridge park and ride sites and services please see the relevant page of the Cambridgeshire County Council website. For visitors coming from London and the south and west, the best site to use is at Madingley Road, adjacent to M11 junction 13.There is no exit from the southbound M11 at junction 13; visitors coming from the north via the A14 should therefore use the Milton site close to the A14/A10 intersection north of Cambridge or one of the busway sites.
The office is in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town. We are a ten minute walk from both Waverley and Haymarket Stations, just off of Castle Street.
